Summary of Donations to OC Support

Obstetric cholestasis (OC) is a liver disorder which occurs during pregnancy, and which has been known to be diagnosed at any time from 8 weeks onwards. It is also referred to as intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP). It affects 1 in 140 pregnant women each year in the UK, but may be slightly more common in women of Asian origin. The causes of OC are not yet fully understood. OC has only come to light these past 10 years and alot of research still needs to be made to help protect unborn babys lifes. Sadly my son finley died of OC, this is a killer problem and more people need to be made aware.
